You put effort into your health before you need medical care.
Traditional plans typically concentrate their value after care is needed.
What Is Freedom Care?
A health care navigation, guidance, and care-funding model.
A better experience — with greater freedom and control along the way.
Freedom Care is not health insurance. That is intentional.
If Freedom Care were built the same way, we would inherit many of those same limitations.
We pursue many of the goals people expect from health insurance. We simply do it differently.

Signals of the shift
Health sharing, direct primary care, concierge medicine, membership models, and direct-pay arrangements are all part of a growing Consumer-Direct Health Care movement.
The Financial Difference
Freedom Care is designed to put more value within reach before a major event happens—through lower monthly contributions, Everyday Care Dollars, greater choice, and a clear path to financial protection when care becomes serious.
Traditional Health Plan
- 1High monthly premiums.
- 2Deductible often around $5,000–$8,000 before meaningful support begins, with max out-of-pocket costs reaching upwards of $12,000 or more.
- 3Network rules can limit choice of doctors, hospitals, and care professionals.
- 4Wellness, integrative, naturopathic, and longevity services are often limited or not covered.
Freedom Care Plan
- 1Monthly contribution designed to be 25%–35% lower than many traditional premiums.
- 225% of the contribution is available as Everyday Care Dollars.
- 3Freedom to use eligible dollars for care, wellness, labs, visits, and trusted professionals.
- 4Member exposure before hardship support is designed around $5,500.
Freedom Care Experience
Use Everyday Care Dollars first
You begin with the Everyday Care Dollars provided by the plan and use them for eligible care and wellness expenses.
Then member out-of-pocket
After those plan dollars are used, you contribute up to the next $5,500 in eligible care expenses.
Then hardship assistance may be available
After the defined member-responsibility layer, you may apply for assistance through the charitable Hardship Fund. Assistance is application-based and not guaranteed.

Preservation Value
Your effort to care for your health should count.
Your effort helps protect more than your health. It helps protect the value of Freedom Care.
Your effort to care for your health can help reduce your risk of preventable illness and injury. When members make that effort together, the whole group can benefit from becoming healthier and lower risk over time.
Preservation Value is how Freedom Care recognizes that shared effort. By rewarding engagement—not health outcomes—we help members preserve value for themselves, support value across the group, and help keep Freedom Care meaningful for years and decades to come.
Your effort today preserves value for tomorrow.
Preservation Value helps determine how much plan value you preserve over time. Qualifying engagement helps maintain your value; if engagement falls below the required level, contributions may increase and Everyday Care Dollars may decrease until value is rebuilt.
You start with value.
A Preservation Value is provided as part of your plan.
Qualifying effort preserves it.
Approved healthy actions add value and help maintain your Preservation Value Average.
You can rebuild.
If value decreases, renewed qualifying engagement can help restore it over time.

Life can still hit hard.
The Hardship Fund is there.
Some moments are bigger than what anyone can plan for. Freedom Care is aligned with the Healthology Hardship 501(c)(3) Charitable Hardship Fund to give members a place to turn when a serious illness or health event creates financial strain.
You can apply for assistance.
If a serious illness or health event affects you or someone in your family, you may apply to the charitable hardship fund for consideration.
Assistance is application-based and subject to the fund’s eligibility requirements, review, and available resources.
